| Ministries Evangelization
Adult Education: plan the various programs throughout the year for the continuing education of our parish, e.g., Soup & Sessions, Parish Missions, ect…
RCIA Sponsor: journey weekly with an adult who is considering being baptized and/or joining the Catholic church or with an adult Catholic who is preparing for Confirmation. The process begins in September and continues through three weeks after Easter.
Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) Catechist or Aide: volunteers and parents help as catechists, aides or office help. PREP meets on Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM till 11:20 AM September-May. Catechists also work on completing their certification as they volunteer.
Youth Group: assist our parish Youth Director with teens as they come together for faith, fun and fellowship. Adult volunteers help provide a safe and sacred environment so our youth can grow in their faith.
Baptismal Formation Process: provide a monthly formation class to new parents and godparents of children to be baptized. These volunteers should be parents themselves who will share the importance of their faith with those who attend the sessions.
Marriage Formation Process: work with engaged couple as they being their formation for the Sacrament of Marriage. Married couples volunteering for this ministry will conduct the FOCCUS (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding and Study) Inventory and discuss the results with the engaged couples. Specific training is required for this ministry.
Vocation Ministry: coordinate and facilitate the Vocation Ministry of the parish to help promote vocations for service to the church.
