Liturgy
Altar Servers: assist the priest at the weekend Masses.
Open to parish youths in Grade 4 or older. Special training is required.
Eucharistic Ministers: assist the priest in ministering the Body and Blood of Christ to the assembled faith community at Masses their service is required. Special training is required.
Greeters: welcome everyone as they enter the church providing a sense of comfort and belonging to the parish.
Ushers: help people find seats; coordinate the gift bearers; take up the collections with gratitude; distribute bulletins; assist in the event of an emergency. Special training is required.
Lectors: proclaim the Word of God at Mass. Special training is required.
Liturgy Planning Committee: plan the specifics for all the liturgies and celebrations during the various liturgical seasons.
Cantors: leads the congregation in singing the hymns and responses at Mass. The cantor also proclaims the sung verses of the responsorial psalm. A developed and trained voice is needed to provide this ministry. Special training is required.
Contemporary Choir Member: participates in the rehearsals to provide a more contemporary style of music for the Saturday 4:30 PM Mass twice a month.
Contemporary Choir Instrumentalist: trained proficiently in playing an instrument, they assist the Contemporary Choir Director in providing accompaniment and solo selections for our worship.
Sacristan: prepares and sets up the sacristy and sanctuary for the celebration of the weekend Masses. This ministry requires specific training.
Arts & Environment: assist in the planning and decorating of our worship space for the various liturgical seasons and holy days.
